During the first quarter of 2016, H.W. Andersen Products Ltd moved to a
new building in the vicinity of Clacton seaside resort (Essex). Due to
the rapid growth of its activities, the company was starting to suffer
from the lack of space in its old premises. Therefore, a decision was
made in 2015 to set up a new building that would allow the organization
to fulfil its objectives and ambitions, and better serve its customers.
The new building was designed taking into account the needs and specific
nature of the company which has been specializing in ethylene oxide
(EO) for more than 50 years.
The new warehouse which covers around 277 sqm will allow Andersen
Products to meet the growing demand for EO sterilisers - and associated
refill kits- in Europe, Africa and the Middle-East.
One of the key developments following the move has been the setting up
of a brand new laboratory. Covering around 119 sqm, the new Andersen
lab, used for contract sterilization services, is now made up of 5
different rooms, including one room dedicated to the preparation of
items, one room dedicated to the sterilization process, and one room
dedicated to aeration, all the different stages of the sterilization
cycle being clearly separated and isolated. Andersen Products offers
contract sterilization services to health care facilities which need to
sterilize their medical equipment but do not want to invest into a
sterilization cabinet. These facilities can send their equipment to
Andersen Products sterilization team which will send them back, ready
for use, in just about 5 days.
